Project Manager, Client Side - Sydney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Wassabi Group team in our North Sydney office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex NSW infrastructure projects from the client's perspective. You will play a critical part in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans to guide all aspects of the project lifecycle

• Monitoring project progress and proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues

• Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities

• Overseeing the work of contractors and consultants to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

• Providing regular progress updates and reporting to senior management

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficiencies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the NSW infrastructure industry, with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful projects

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Proficient in the use of project management software and MS Office suite

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field
